12-year-old charged with DWI

ALAMOGORDO DAILY NEWS, N.M.

A 12-year-old girl and three other minors took the family car for a drive on U.S. Highway 54/70.

All four children admitted to drinking alcohol, police records state. The names of the children were not released.

The girl who was driving was referred to Juvenile Probation and Parole (JPPO) for reckless driving and DWI.

This will be a juvenile case of time served. By the time the kid wants a license this will be closed history which will have no affect on her license. This joy ride is nothing new. I remember driving on an army base when I was 8 years old, but no booze.....I never lost my license because of booze or drugs........One speeding ticket in an MX-5 MIATA...
