NYPD officer headed home after Coney Island fire
CONEY ISLAND (WABC) -- An NYPD housing officer who was critically injured in a Brooklyn high-rise fire nearly six weeks ago is finally going home Monday.
Rosa Rodriguez has been recovering at Weill Cornell Medical Center from a burned esophagus she suffered responding to a blaze in Coney Island.
Sources say she is in good spirits and is able to talk.
