Fireworks, ESB Light Show Mark Nation's 237th Birthday
New Yorkers lined the Hudson River on a warm, muggy night to celebrate the nation's birthday with the annual Macy's Fourth of July fireworks show Thursday.
Revelers were greeted with temperatures in the mid-80s and high humidity as more than 40,000 fireworks lit up the sky on Manhattan's West Side.
The fireworks were set to music directed by Grammy Award-winning recording artist Usher.
The event also featured a light show on the Empire State Building.
