Sources: Two Questioned In Brooklyn Officer's Shooting

Two persons of interest are being questioned in connection with a shooting that injured a city police officer last night outside a Brooklyn housing complex, sources tell NY1.
Police say it happened outside 365 Fountain Avenue in East New York just before 11 p.m.

According to investigators, two officers saw a shooting and ran after a suspect, but lost sight of him and called in for help.

Officer Jamil Sarwar and his partner were on patrol in the Cypress Hills housing development and responded to the call.
