NEW YORK (WABC) -- A New York City bus driver was stabbed in the Bronx Thursday night, the third attack on a bus driver in the past two weeks.

A New York City bus driver was stabbed in the Bronx Thursday night, the third attack on a bus driver in the past two weeks. It happened at East 148th Street and 3rd Avenue in the Mott Haven section just after 8pm. The Transit Workers Union says the driver was stabbed in the hand with a pocket knife. The BX 41 bus did not have surveillance cameras or petitions. The union is demanding that all buses be equipped with partitions. On Wednesday, police say a passenger slashed a driver's arm in the Bronx. And on Monday, a driver was punched and robbed on the Lower East Side.
