State Controller Thomas DiNapoli, who has traditionally enjoyed strong support from organized labor, has won the endorsement of one of New Yorks most powerful unions - 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East.
The 250,000-member union is set to announce its backing of DiNapolis re-election bid later this afternoon, the Daily News has learned.
