NY has a new college with a new name

SUNY Polytechnic Institute was officially picked today as the new name of the recently merged SUNY College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering in Albany and the SUNY Institute of Technology in Utica.

The two schools are working together as part of the $1.5 billion Nano Utica initiative pushed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo and aimed at expanding the success of the nanocenter at SUNY Albany.
