Midtown Woman Falls To Death After Her Balcony Railing Gives Way

A woman fell 17 stories to her death early this morning, after stepping out onto her Midtown balcony to smoke a cigarette.
Authorities say Jennifer Rosoff, 35, was found dead at 400 East 57th Street.
According to a Department of Building complaint, the balcony railing on her apartment, 17B, gave way.
Police say Rosoff was on the balcony with a male acquaintance when she fell.
