Time Warner Cable Replaces CBS With Movie Channel On Its Lineup

As the City Council prepares to get involved in the battle between Time Warner Cable and CBS, the cable provider has now put a new face on CBS's longtime spot on the dial.

After days of running just an informational graphic on channel 2, earlier today Time Warner Cable, the parent company of NY1, put the movie channel Starz Kids And Family in that spot on what it called a temporary basis.

Last week, TWC pulled CBS off the air in New York and in multiple markets nationwide due to a long-running dispute about carriage fees.

The City Council has scheduled a hearing on the matter for Thursday.
