While the Democratic candidates for New York City mayor have spend much of their time attacking Mayor Michael Bloomberg's policies on issues like education and stop-and-frisk, it is a very different story for Republican mayoral candidates, who praised Bloomberg's policies at a debate on Friday. NY1's Bobby Cuza filed the following report.

Forget Bloomberg bashing.

The Republican mayoral candidates may be Mayor Michael Bloomberg's biggest boosters.

“Some of our democratic opponents are about tearing down what Mayor Bloomberg has done," said George McDonald. "I believe that New York City has never been in better shape.”
