NYC Dominican Day Parade marches up 6th Avenue

NEW YORK -- The crowds at New York's Dominican Day Parade Sunday got music, merengue and mayoral candidates.

The 32nd annual march went up Sixth Avenue from 37th Street to 52nd Street.

Candidates including Bill Thompson and City Council Speaker Christine Quinn have made appearances. Quinn was a clear crowd favorite, getting hugs and cheers from the crowds.

Eliot Spitzer, running for city comptroller, also marched, getting some cheers.
