Driver In Custody After Early Morning Crash Spans Two Boroughs

A man is in custody after a car crash involving a police car that sent several people to the hospital early Wednesday morning.
Police sources say it all started when the driver of an Altima sideswiped a car at 109th Avenue and 106th Street in Queens around 2:30 a.m.
The Altima then went through a red light.
An unmarked police car started following the Altima, which hit a BMW between Atlantic and Van Siclen Avenues in Brooklyn.
