Police: Hit-And-Run Driver Who Fired Shots At Officers Still At Large

Police are looking for a man in his 60s who they say fired at two officers after being pulled over in Queens last night near the Ed Koch-Queensboro Bridge.

It started last night around 9 p.m. when police pulled over a black pickup truck at Broadway and Crescent Street in Astoria.

The driver fired a shot at the officers, then sped off clipping at least one of them.

He abandoned the car a few blocks away at 37th Avenue and 24th Street.
