NEW YORK -- Anti-war protesters rallied inTimes Square as President Obama announced that he would ask Congress to authorize a military strike on Syria.
About 200 people opposed to U.S. military intervention staged a noisy but orderly demonstration Saturday in the tourist-packed theater district.
Many chanted "No war on Syria!"
The rally began around noon and continued as the president said in a televised address that he favored a military strike to punish Syria's government for an alleged chemical weapons attack on civilians, but would ask for Congressional approval.

Syria is just piled on to the Afghanistan. If there is anything in SF I'll go down there as well. I'll check out ANSWER or other sites and see...
