Herkimer County Board of Elections Reminder: Deadline for Party Enrollment Change Approaching
HERKIMER, N.Y. -- The Herkimer County Board of Elections has a reminder as voters approach February.
Voters have a key deadline coming up if they want to change their party enrollment before the 2026 Primary Election.
The County BOE said Saturday, Feb. 14 is the last day to update party enrollment for the June 23 primary.
New York State has closed primaries, so only voters enrolled in a party can vote in that party’s primary.
