State Funding To Keep Interfaith Open Through Year's End

NY1News

A financially strapped Brooklyn Hospital has received a helping hand.

Interfaith Medical Center in Bedford-Stuyvesant has been given the funding needed to stay open through the end of the year.

The state recently allocated $20 million to cover operating costs through December 31.

Still, the hospital remains deep in debt, as it serves a community that includes a number of uninsured patients.
