We are looking at up to 8" here in mid-michigan. Hate it when they predict this much so far Purveyor Dec 2013 #3
I heard we were getting 3"-6" here in the Grand Rapids area on 1/1. Glad I'm not working catbyte Dec 2013 #6

in advance as they usually end up upping the forecast amounts of snow.

That said, I'll take a couple of feet of snow versus the ice storm we missed 8 days ago.

Some poor folks around the Lansing area(30 miles north of us) are STILL without power.

A Christmas they will never forget and a situation that I would not wish upon only the truly deserving.

until Friday & plan on spending New Year's with friends who live about 1/4 mile from me in my housing complex. One of my friends living in Barry County didn't get power back until Saturday night. It was out for 8.5 days, and still Rick "The Dictator" refuses to declare an emergency in hard hit areas. Yet another betrayal. I hope folks remember in November and send that "tough nerd" bastard back to his tacky McMansion for good.
