We had some snow up this way, not really enough to shovel, and I was out in a sweater dusting snow off the cars! It was a bit ... brisk ... but nothing like the hellish reality of zero!

I will say, though, this cold snap reminded me of my childhood. I can remember this cold from when I was a kid--it was like this a lot, it came around regularly. And we just "bundled up" and went out and skated and sledded and walked to school and, well, dealt with it!

Today, it felt like Maui in comparison. This whipsaw thing, where it goes from zero to 55 degrees and back again, over and over, I call it the BiPolar Vortex.
