NEW YORK (WABC) -- Ice fallling from buildings in Lower Manhattan is causing street closures and traffic delays Wednesday morning.
The ice was falling on West Street, which was closed in both directions.
Southbound lanes are closed from Canal Street to the Battery Park underpass, while northbound lanes were shut from the underpass to Murray Street.
The Battery Park underpass is closed to all traffic.

after 68 inches this year. including 7 monday, we hit 45F yesterday. Today, 48F. Even the 8 foot snow piles in front of my house are getting noticeably smaller.
