NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton On Medical Marijuana: Spark It Up

NYPD Police Commissioner Bill Bratton thinks it time to legalize weed in certain cases.

Bratton, who was asked his position at a City Hall press conference on Tuesday, said he has long been an advocate for medical marijuana, even when it wasn't a popular stance.

"I've always been very supportive of the use of marijuana for medical purposes," said the city's top cop.

But he isn't so mellow when it comes to legalizing pot for recreational purposes.

Are going to have big problems...bigger than the problem of 25% of jail cells, or bigger than the turf wars over it, or bigger than the financing of huge terrorist groups, I ask?
