Westchester animal shelter in danger of collapsing

Eyewitness News
ELMSFORD, New York (WABC) -- A Pet Organization in Westchester is asking for help in rehoming over 100 animals who are in danger because the building where they are housed is in danger of collapsing.

Pets Alive says the cause of the damage is currently under investigation but is asking for public help in housing 100 dogs, 80 cats and 5 bunnies that currently live in the unstable structure.

Other organizations in the area have offered some help, but Pets Alive is asking for additional help in adopting or fostering these animals.

Those able to help with rehoming are urged to go to the rescue at 100 South Warehouse Lane, Elmsford, NY 10523 to be paired with animals that are a good fit for their home. On Sunday, the organization will work with partner rescues to place any remaining animals.
