I made reservations for 12 people starting at 7 PM. My wife and I, Mopinko and her husband will be there at 7...hoping all of you can drop in - we will be sure to hang around for awhile!

This is the last change I will make to this - I will also give it a kick.

Anyone in the area that can make the trek to the Brier Creek area - you will have the rare opportunity to beat the crap out of at least 3 former mods!



Actually - and seriously - let's take advantage of the dog-fetching visit to the Raleigh area by Mopinko - the night and the time are pretty well set, as is the Brier Creek location - but the venue is flexible. I was pondering Tra Li Irish Pub just across the street from the BJs at the outer reaches of Brier Creek. Certainly can take other recommendations.

I will be sending PMs to those who posted in the last meet up thread - but it would be good if you could post your intent to attend and any other ideas you had for a venue.

I now work in the evenings until 9pm. I can send the SO. He really enjoys DU, thought he does not post himself. He's very liberal friendly after 3 years w/ yours truly.

I can scoot over there after work in RTP. but it will be between 9 - 9:30pm.

It takes me an hour to get home and would take another hour to get back to Brier Creek. I have dogs to walk and feed and a wife to talk to.

My count is that we had a max number of 9 - Mopinko (and SO), Supernova (and SO), nclib (and SO), and me (with SO), and barbtries - nice turnout (always wishing it were more!). 31. I got away from my phonecalling about a half hour later than expected

so I barely managed to meet and greet Mopinko & her SO as they were running for the exit. Supernova & her SO and nclib & her SO all graciously stuck around a while to chat, and then PoolHallAce materialized. So I got to see some actual DUers
