Saw that on twitter.

"This eliminates public money, tax money, for both parties," said Budget Director Art Pope.

A favorite phrase for WRAL: "left-leaning"

No such moniker (ie: "right-leaning" or "Tea Party&quot is applied to McCrory and his ALEC/Koch cronies.

Was with WRAL from 1960 to 1972, often doing late night commentary. I wouldn't have had the guy on the public airwaves, going by BBC standards. WRAL may be more balanced these days but having a legacy of him being on the air... That will take a generation or three to overcome.

Hmm, let's see:

Fire TAs: -3,000

Hire new teachers: +1,800

MetLife: +1,560 (excluded the 40% transfers)

Raeford poultry workers losing jobs: -950

If I can still do math, that's a loss of 590 jobs.

9.5% unemployment now... bets as to how long before we hit #1, or at least the Top 3?

Benefits in NC are pathetic. I pay an outrageous amount every 15 days and I am one person and now with the state reduction in health care (because each one of us pays so much!) we will pay more and next year the state will reduce more and our deductions will increase again and on and on.

I say that as soon as Obamacare does become law we bail the crappy NC "system".
