Wow--blazing speech from Rev Barber.

"We've been told that growing inequality is the price for a good economy...but that's a LIE."
Chant--"I'm a worker, don't mind workin but I want to be treated right."
"You can't separate civil rights from workers' rights. Dr.King marched for jobs, justice, and freedom."
"Phony (Berger) King LOL

Barber is a powerful speaker and leader, and NC is lucky to have him. People are so downtrodden and discouraged, but he lifts spirits and puts the right perspective on it--get angry and get active. Do not just hand this state to these marauders to do what they like. Fight these gross injustices. The big picture is "change the South, change the country." (ie. see this as an opportunity).

Rev Barber rocks. So inspiring.

to you for being there ncrainbowgrrl

It was an amazing feeling to be out there walking together with people who had come as far as charlotte to be part of this.

Barber is brilliant. Every time I feel he's given his best speech yet... nope another week or event happens, and I'm forced to retract that thought.
