(2,951 posts)I found it in a magazine years ago. My family loves it, so I make it often.
I try to limit my intake, but my husband is an NC boy through & through, so I learned long ago not to try to change his habits.

(8,434 posts)If FL, NC, VA, and PA all fall it's over before CST polling even closes.
Such a grand thought. I could be in bed by 9 pm knowing Obama won.

(23,761 posts)if that's the case, then Obama doesn't even need FL

(53 posts)That's because my daughter's inlaws live in NC and they are staunch anti-Obama people. Their arrogance needs to take a big hit.

(11 posts)I grew up in NC near the research triangle and I was stoked to go home (I live in VA now) and see all of the Obama supporters! The biggest problem with NC is that all of the smaller more secluded communities make it a point to bus every single person who is voting conservatively to the polls, or at least that's what happened with the prop 8 law (gay marriage). I get what you are saying though, I live in a military community and for some reason these people think they have to vote republican, I can't wait to draw huge chalk arrows on my car pointing to my Obama sticker the day after he wins.

(19,841 posts)I have more hope for the military being split than the rural folks. In NC like in most other states, the biggest divide is rural/urban. Talk about needing liberation (from Fox & the 1%) in the name of Democracy...NC has been Koched. (Cooked?)
Gonna be a squeaker.

We did it four years ago, we can do it again!

(19,841 posts)I'm starting to believe it's possible, since Bombney is bombing so bad. But I fear the election riggers are gearing up for some overtime. Am particularly worried about the 50% of counties that have unverifiable e-voting. We saw it before & I think we'll see it again. Machines that malfunction, vote-switching, lost data & "lost" data. And now not even any exit polling (thank you Bushites). I don't trust the system. Glad Michelle Obama is speaking out about the need for election reform.
When so many feel it's their just & God-given duty to stop Obama...
