City of Lawton sets date for next council seat election
LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - Lawton City Council approved the date for the upcoming council primary election.
On Sept. 9, Lawton voters living in Wards 3, 4 and 5 can take to the polls and vote for their next representative.
Linda Chapman represents Ward 3. George Gill represents Ward 4. Allan Hampton represents Ward 5.
Terms serve three years and filing will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. from July 28-30.
