9-year-old fatally stabs 11-year-old Pennsylvania boy

A fight over a toy led to a 9-year-old fatally stabbing an 11-year-old boy in northern Pennsylvania, authorities said. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the incident occurred Saturday night in Bradford County near Ridgebury Township, WNEP reported.

At about 8 p.m. EDT, the two children were playing with Nerf toys when a scuffle occurred, WETM reported. During a “tug of war” over the Nerf gun, the 9-year-old, who was holding a knife, allegedly stabbed the older child in his upper chest region, according to the television station reported.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead after life-saving efforts failed, WETM reported.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the case is being handled as a homicide, the television station reported. Police said the investigation was ongoing, according to WNEP.

I went to look this up at https://solomonswords.blogspot.com/ , and then I remembered that the two places, despite their similar names, are nowhere near each other.

Thanks for the thread.
