Judge Blocks PA Voter ID Law for Presidential Election

Following the instructions from the PA. Supreme Court, the PA. Commonwealth Court judge blocked the enforcement of the Voter ID law during the November election.

Considering that he was doing what he was told, and with so little time left, I'd be amazed if the State Supreme Court would hear any appeal at this time.

There will be full hearings and future decisions on this law after the election - this is by no means the final decision on the matter, just a temporary delay.

I just hope that confounded law just dies a natural death now. I don't think they will bring it back in two years when Corbett is on the ballot. But, who knows!
Nothing is beyond them.

These mofo's aren't gonna stop. I keep getting stuff in my inbox daily about how good the Corbett admin is doing...

They keep chipping away, we have to give em the elbow of defeat! (ooh, we need an emoticon for that!)

The Photo ID Law is on the books in PA and Judge Simpson only enjoined it for the November election. So the Legislature would have to pass a new law repealing the Photo ID law to kill it. Seems unlikely.
