Hey Corbett! Why not outsource the position of First Lady?
That possibility popped into my mind when I was considering what further damage he could wreak on Pennsylvania in the remainder of his term. He does seem addicted to privatizing, and he is running out of government agencies/services to sell off. Why subsidize a First Lady's bed and board, plus state police bodyguard and private chauffeur, 24/7? You could hire someone part-time, for minimum wage and no bennies. Or just eliminate the position altogether - it's not required by the state constitution or other law. And why keep the Governor's Mansion, when you could put a sofa bed in your private office in the state capitol, or just park a camper in front of the main capitol steps? Then you could get rid of the cook and other servants - just eat in the state capitol cafeteria & use the shower in the gym facility. And just get rid of the state Supreme Court and send the appeals into Judge Judy. That's the ticket!
I think the Tea Party would endorse these changes, don't you? Less Government! Reduced expenditures!
(Does Corbett make me crazy? Absolutely! I've lived in Illinois, Maryland, Wisconsin, Florida, California and Pennsylvnia - and he's by far the worst governor I've ever encountered.)
