Of course the kind of Christians who have to ram this shit down our throats don't do that.

(14,779 posts)That 1956 movie sent a whole lot of these memorials all over the place and if locals would accept them. The movie company would set them up for free. Since no one locally objected to the monuments, they were accepted and placed all over the country. In the last ten years or so, people have discovered them and want them off government property. Most of these small local government object not for religious reasons but the cost to move the object (The Local Government does not want to pay).
