Ten Commandments monument at High School, New Kensington

Two actions in federal court this week could impact the future of the Ten Commandments monument at Valley Junior-Senior High School in New Kensington, PA.
A federal judge on Friday ruled a similar monument at a Connellsville Area school in Fayette County illegally endorses religion ...

... an observer would likely see the ... monument as an endorsement of religion ...
the Ten Commandments have a “primarily religious significance;” the large letters on the monument that declare “I Am the LORD thy God”

It's called the Golden Rule. If you follow the Golden Rule, you will not run afoul of the 10 Commandments.

Of course the kind of Christians who have to ram this shit down our throats don't do that.

That 1956 movie sent a whole lot of these memorials all over the place and if locals would accept them. The movie company would set them up for free. Since no one locally objected to the monuments, they were accepted and placed all over the country. In the last ten years or so, people have discovered them and want them off government property. Most of these small local government object not for religious reasons but the cost to move the object (The Local Government does not want to pay).
