State GOP Allows The Move Of School District Money And Taxpayer Money To Charter Schools

The state education agency in Pennsylvania is responsible for writing the IDEA grants for every child with disabilities and related disorders living in the state. Why should taxpayers send money to a Charter School when the state edcuation agency should be working with OSERS to write the grant based on each child's specific needs, an IEP-Individual Education Plan and Promising Practices?

from the US Department of Education to write a grant. No one has to wait. I am familiar with the Dallas Branch Office. There is a branch that serves Pennsylvania. There may be a regional or intermediate education agency that can help.

Leave it up to the States, indeed.
