We had her spayed (ear notched). Up to date on rabies shot, & other shots. Negative for FIV and other contagious diseases. Recently de-wormed. We think she's about a year and a half old. She's affectionate and playful. We can't take her inside because our inside female wants to fight her. I made an insulated outside house for her, but we'd like to find her a home before Winter. We call her Ginger. If anyone on DU knows anyone who would take in a stray in need of a home, please personal message me or reply to this thread. Lehigh Valley, PA area.
Can anyone suggest any safe websites for finding homes for stray cats?

(440 posts)Had them all fixed, & was not easy to find homes for. I talked to my vet, and asked her to keep her ears open, of anyone, whom she knew that would make good owners, looking for a cat. You can also, at least at my vets office, post pictures of kitty, and Choose someone that way too. Good Luck.

(1,561 posts)Ginger had five kittens under our pine tree this Summer. We found homes for three, and the other two went directly into a foster home via a shelter agency. That's why we had her spayed. I'll ask my vet if we can post a photo... he's great that way.

We live at the edge of city and people dump cats and dogs out here. We have several stray cats we feed, that population changes from time to time. IF they stay around long enough and we can catch them, we get them fixed. Have tamed a few, but most of the time when they are grown and wild, they are hard to tame.
We live on limestone rock which is full of holes and crevices with woods a creek behind us. Perfect for all kinds of wildlife including snakes, mice and rats. Don't mind having a few outdoor cats around.
