Early voting in primary election for Clarendon County Council seat officially starts
CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - Early voting for the primary election to replace a longtime Clarendon County councilman officially started Monday.
The election is for the Clarendon County Council District 2 seat to replace longtime councilman Rev. William James (W.J.) Frierson Sr who passed away in December.
Frierson had served on the council for 30 years, beginning his tenure in January 1995.
There are five candidates running in the primary to replace Frierson: three Democrats and two Republicans.
