Judge grants restraining order prohibiting CSCOPE lessons in Llano ISD
A group of Llano County citizens have sought and obtained a temporary restraining order from State District Judge Dan Mills that prohibits the Llano Independent School District from using CSCOPE lesson plans until the State Board of Education has approved those plans.
Texas Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst and State Rep. Steve Toth will stand with WomenOnTheWall.org Board Member Alice Linahan, Llano taxpayer Bill Hussey and attorney Tim Cowart to make this announcement at a news conference at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Senate Press Room at the State Capitol in Austin.
