(112,099 posts)I don't have any doubts about it so what is troubling you? I posted this a few days ago and it looks like there are four candidates: Hilderbran, Hegar, Medina and Torres.

(4,695 posts)Texas Legislature and pushed by Governor Perry. This cause a huge shortfall funding in Education, Medicaid and many other service agencies. The Comptroller (Keeton-Strahorn) warned Perry in a 2005 letter but he just laughed it off as it would be easy to move the tax burden to the poor and lower middle class low wage earners. Let's not forget the children of Texas who were effected by the $4 Billion dollar shortfall for Texas Public Education due to loss of tax revenue.
