It's time to show up

Rick Perry is getting a bum rap. That might be the last positive thing I’ll say about the Texas governor for a good while.

Why the bum rap? A newspaper report detailed this past week that Perry has spent little time in his governor’s office since coming back home from the Republican Party clown show ... er, presidential primary campaign.

Perry ended his presidential candidacy Jan. 19, just ahead of the South Carolina primary. He didn’t “see a way forward” to continue a futile campaign that featured more gaffes than goals.

He and his wife Anita came back to Texas so the governor could resume the job for which he draws a six-figure salary.

But wait.

I'd rather he be out of the news and laying low. It really is cheaper than him being in his office giving away public assets for a song.

Oh how I wish he would just quit being governor. Find a life on the road like Sarah Palin did.

The Cheer Leader had enough guts to Quit as Gov, and go after the tour bus followers crowd of tea baggers.

Maybe we could buy Rick a bus. It would be cheaper on the taxpayers and reduce our defecit?

Bids open for one 50 foot class 4 tour bus with quarter for 2
(1 million max)

or

Another record setting budget defecit for 2013.

Maybe the comptroller need an email.
