Sometimes I wonder if theres anyone besides Mike Lee and Rand Paul who can actually stand Ted Cruz. He seems to almost go out of his way to make even those within his own party despise him.
Then again its clear by his actions since becoming a senator that hes only concerned about his own presidential aspirations in 2016.
And considering that Texas Governor Rick Perry is most likely going to be one of his opponents in 2016, it doesnt really come as a surprise that Cruz went after one of Perrys main talking points jobs.
There isnt a politician in this country whos responsible for the economic growth we have, Cruz said. The economic growth has come from the private sector, its come from entrepreneurs. Nothing drives me crazier than politicians who run around talking about the jobs theyve created. Politicians are very good at killing jobs, but they dont create jobs.

Republican politicians are the first to claim that government doesn't create jobs when a democrat wants to pass some sort of jobs bill.
But they're the first ones to talk about how if elected/re-elected, he has a plan to decrease unemployment.

(9,118 posts)Somewhere in that alternate universe where the Texas voters of 2012 decided to vote for their interests instead of responding to Tea Party propaganda and lies, Texas Republicans are wailing and moaning that Ted Cruz would have made a better representative for the people of Texas and their interests.
Unlike both the Texas Republicans of that alternate universe and the Texas Republicans of this one, we know better.
