Federal prison administrator in North Texas accused of hiding ties to contractor
A North Texas federal prison administrator was charged Friday with hiding his ties to a federal contractor by submitting a false financial disclosure statement, court records show.
Cary J. Hudson, a financial administrator for the Bureau of Prisons since 1999, indicated in a financial disclosure he made in February 2012 that he had no outside employment, court records show.
But Hudson was in fact a paid consultant for Integrated Medical Solutions, a Mansfield company that competes for health care service contracts at federal prisons across the nation, records show.
He was charged with false document submitted to an agency of the United States.
