In a debate with her centrist Democratic opponent, Libby Willis, which aired Sunday on KXAS Channel 5, Burton flatly lied by denying that she had publicly stated her opposition to a budget to restore most of a massive $5 billion cut in Texas public schools.

Another OP on the Texas Group describes Ads that Tea Party Republican Konni Burton mailed out in her home town of Colleyville telling a lie about public education, in my opinion. This Ad claims that she will end corporate subsidies. There is no way she is supporting the end of subsidies for Big Oil and Gas.
