From Wendy Davis' Concession Speech- A Quote from Poet Jacob Riis

Look at a stone cutter hammering away at his rock,
perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it.
Yet at the hundred-and-first blow it will split in two,
and I know it was not the last blow that did it,
but all that had gone before.

As in redneck. It's not blue or purple it's RED orangutan butt red. God help us. The dem leadership blew it in Texas and nationally. Time for a shakeup Deb starting with you.

Disparaging Orangutans is unwise: "Ook"

Second: Texas will go blue but it will take time and effort.

Third: Giving up is the sucker's way.

for US "democracy." Since 1980 especially, too much has gone before

Have to confess that I didn't read the whole speech where the context was likely clearer.

I heart Wendy Davis, but I truly fear for my country.
