FBI affidavit: Arlington club owner sought to kill two officials
ARLINGTON — The Flashdancer adult club in Arlington was raided late Monday night after an FBI special agent determined that the owner — Ryan Walker Grant — intended to hire someone to murder two City of Arlington officials, according to an affidavit obtained by WFAA.
The investigation was a joint venture by the FBI and Drug Enforcement Agency based on information that Grant was allegedly planning a murder-for-hire.
Flashdancer, a sexually-oriented nightclub, has been the subject of a nuisance lawsuit filed by the Texas Attorney General's Office and the City of Arlington.
A civil agreement was recently reached to close Flashdancer for one year. However, the city was taking steps to revoke Grant's sexually-oriented business (SOB) license.
