Prosecutors: Hedrick possessed 2,500 child pornographic images (former Pan American Airways Pres.)

Prosecutors alleged that the former president of Pan American Airways possessed at least 2,500 child pornography images in federal court Wednesday, while the defense claimed enemies set up the Brownsville businessman.

Robert Hedrick, 60, is charged with attempting to produce images of child pornography, transfer of obscene materials to a minor, and distribution and possession of child pornography during 2010.

Before U.S. District Judge Andrew S. Hanen on Wednesday attorneys went over evidence that might be presented at trial if allowed in by the judge.

“I’m assuming your defense is ‘This may be my computer, but it ain’t me,’” Hanen said. “Your real defense is ‘This may all be true, but it ain’t my guy.’”

Dates, etc. and if the computer was a bot, there'd be evidence of that too.
