Texas teacher says McKinney case ‘almost’ enough to wish for segregation — but she’s ‘not racist’

http://www.rawstory.com/2015/06/texas-teacher-says-mckinney-case-almost-enough-to-wish-for-segregation-but-shes-not-racist/

The fourth-grade teacher said she was angry that Cpl. Eric Casebolt had resigned from the McKinney police department after video showed him slam a girl in a bikini to the ground and chase boys at gunpoint while responding to a fight at the community swimming pool.

“I’m going to just go ahead and say it … the blacks are the ones causing the problems and this ‘racial tension,’” Fitzgibbons said. “I guess that’s what happens when you flunk out of school and have no education. I’m sure their parents are just as guilty for not knowing what their kids were doing; or knew it and didn’t care.”

The veteran teacher expressed regret that black Americans were no longer legally obligated to live in segregated neighborhoods and attend separate schools from whites.

“I’m almost to the point of wanting them all segregated on one side of town so they can hurt each other and leave the innocent people alone,” Fitzgibbons said. “Maybe the 50s and 60s were really on to something. Now, let the bashing of my true and honest opinion begin….GO!”

the haters just have to have their say.
they just can't help themselves.

so to review here.

she says she not a racist but here's a comment about her true feelings that reflect her opinion that
black people are uneducated trouble makers who should have to live on a different side of town
than the innocent people who live in the gated communities.

my fuckin head hurts from trying to make that logic lay flat

Frenship ISD teacher apologizes after McKinney-related segregation post

Frenship teacher 'relieved of her teaching duties' over segregation post

Frenship ISD is in the predominately wealthy and white portion of Lubbock. The comments at the links are also interesting with one person defending white separatist policies.

ETA: Edited to fix links.

Frenship Independent School District officials fired Karen Fitzgibbons, a fourth-grade teacher at Bennett Elementary School in Wolfforth, for making the controversial post, the district announced in a statement Thursday.

In a news release, officials said "Frenship ISD is deeply disappointed in the thoughtlessness conveyed by this employee's post. "We find these statements to be extremely offensive, insensitive, and disrespectful to our Frenship community and citizens everywhere. These comments in no way represent the educational environment we have created for our students."

The statement continued, "We hold our employees responsible for their public conduct even when they are not on active duty as district employees. Employees are held to the same professional standards in their public use of electronic media as they are for any other public conduct. This recent conduct was unacceptable."
