2. wOW, this is allowed in TEXAS? Hard to believe, I guess take advantage of it.

I read that approximately 500 THOUSAND Texans dont have the correct ID (unconstitutional by the way to require it) and the VAST VAST VAST majority are Black and Latino...imagine that

Is not as bad as it used to be. Felons can vote after they are no longer on parole. You can vote in jail if you are there for a misdemeanor.

At least we're not Florida

Why wouldnt the most white, red neck American who fought in a foreign war, for instance, not be willing to die to protect a Black person's vote, isnt that why they risked their lives in the first place?

Either they believe in Democracy for all, or not.

Because we are truly the backwards, third-world place the rest of DU believes.


(I used to think that DU was a place full of well-informed people who wouldn't yield to prejudices about any region of the country. I haven't thought that for some time now.)

and if any are interested you should look at your county's voting website to apply to be a delegate etc. Lots of info on county sites.
