FRISCO About 250 people attended an Open Texas rally on Saturday outside Frisco City Hall. The event was organized to call for the lifting of Texas stay-at-home orders.
While several in the crowd wore masks, many did not, and social distancing was not practiced. Many people brought signs.
Nearly a dozen people, including business owners and medical professionals, spoke from a stage.
We support our governor and elected officials, make no mistake about it," said Open Texas organizer Grant Bynum. "But we also believe that the time has come to stop living in fear, Texas. Its time to start living with hope and freedom.

(95,247 posts)While technically correct, the usage 'hundreds' implies a good deal more than a paltry two hundred fifty or so....
And anyone mouthing swill like "The time has come to stop living in fear. Its time to start living with hope and freedom. needs to be conscripted to several weeks as an orderly in a critical ward, with no more than a rain slicker and a few paper towels and rubber bands for protective gear. Crap like that gets right up my left nostril.

Given the population of Texas, why should we care what this handful of fools are honking about?
