(10,252 posts)you can request a mail-in ballot with being a Sr. citizen as your reason for wanting one. However it is very very important that when you receive your ballot that you read the instructions and follow them EXACTLY. My primary mail-in ballot had to be sent back within 4 business days. The web site for your county Registrar of Voters will have a form that enables you to find where your early voting poll is. If you plan to vote early, check out where the early poll location is before driving to one that is closed and getting discouraged.

(22,250 posts)It makes the whole process easier.
You will be checked in like normal. There should be an indication on the voter list that you were sent a ballot, and the election judge will verify with Early Voting that you are voting in person, and they will mark their records. Then you surrender the ballot and proceed to vote as usual.
If you do not have your ballot with you, there is an affidavit for you to sign which adds another step to the process and makes the wait time longer for others.
