In photos of the mob, the 53-year-old Air Force veteran could be seen wearing a combat helmet and body armor and carrying zip-tie handcuffs.
A North Texas man was arrested Sunday in connection with last weeks riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Larry Rendall Brock Jr., 53, faces one count of entering or remaining in a restricted building without lawful authority and one count of violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, the Justice Department announced.
He was arrested Sunday in Texas. Brock had surrendered himself to the FBI at the Grapevine police station, an FBI spokesperson said, and he is being held at the Grapevine Police Jail as of Sunday evening.
More arrests could be coming as authorities say additional cases are under seal and federal agents are looking for dozens of people.
Brock, a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, confirmed to The New Yorker magazine that he was involved in Wednesdays breach of the Capitol.
