He wants to have hearings to help heal our nation.

Um, The Black Lives Matter protests across the nation showed White America one way to heal: Stop allowing law enforcement to gun down Black people in the streets. Or in their homes. Or killing them without bullets.

That's too big an ask of white people. *Their* fee-fees get hurt when they have to acknowledge racism. We have to focus on making sure white people don't feel bad about racial violence they tacitly enjoy and hope to see more of ("Cops&quot .

White men = 30% of Americans, but they hold 62% of government offices at all levels.
Women = 51% of Americans.

Fear of long coming demographic trends. Looks to me like whites don't want to play nice, or fair, or by the golden rule. The Patriarchy is dying, and they're obnoxious and dangerous about it.
