Just minutes ago, I watched the Lt gov. complain about it in the Senate being the Houses fault for it dying - that they took two days off and ran out of time to do their work. Ill give him credit for saying he didnt blame the other side for walking out.
Well, dan, the big stinker maneuvers they pulled yesterday in the Tx Senate (forced late night debate over the resolution and early morning passage) certainly didnt help motivate any House Dems left out of the process to stick around for an aggressively ill-conceived, immoral, and racist bill.
