Follow-up: Charges filed in Colorado City standoff, five arrested
Charges were filed Tuesday against two men in connection with a shooting and a standoff with law enforcement personnel in Colorado City.
In addition, a juvenile is in custody after the incident, which ended early Tuesday after SWAT personnel from the Texas Department of Public Safety threw stun grenades toward the building where the three people were holed up and arrested the suspects.
Two other people were charged Tuesday with hindering apprehension of the three fugitives, who allegedly fired at a DPS trooper after he pulled them over for speeding.
Myron McDonald Jr., 22, of Oklahoma City; Christopher Johnson, 24, of Oklahoma City; and a 16-year-old boy, not identified, of Edmond, Okla., were arrested, said Mitchell County Sheriff Patrick Toombs.
